According to a press release from the Utah County Public Information Officer, which was acquired by PEOPLE, deputies were dispatched to the Sundance Resort earlier that morning in response to a report concerning a woman in need of assistance.
The statement elaborated that upon engaging with the woman, the deputies discovered she had expressed troubling remarks to a family member, as well as similar sentiments during their conversation. Consequently, the deputies made the decision to transport her to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Despite attempts to reach Kelley for comments, she has not responded to inquiries from PEOPLE, and a representative for Scott has yet to provide a reply.
Shortly after her Instagram Live session, Kelley posted a photo of her belongings on her Instagram Stories, overlaying the image with text that read, “This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids.” In a subsequent message, she reassured her followers, stating, “Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been.”
