The eagerly awaited Marvel movies “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” among other upcoming projects, have been postponed.

On May 22, Disney declared that “Secret Wars” would be rescheduled from May 2, 2027, to December 17, 2027, and “Doomsday” would be moved from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
Marvel announced at Comic-Con in July that Robert Downey Jr. would return to the franchise in “Doomsday” as the antagonist Doctor Doom. As demonstrated in a March livestream that lasted more than five hours, Downey now joins an impressive list of returning names.

With many of the original “X-Men” actors returning to their roles for the first time in years, the cast list revealed that “Doomsday,” which is currently in production, will be an ambitious crossover between Marvel’s “Avengers” franchise and the “X-Men” series.

Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal, Simu Liu, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Winston Duke, Paul Rudd.
Danny Ramirez, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman are among the cast’s current members.
