Royal Challengers Bangalore once again dealt a heavy blow to Chennai at the Chennai Chinnaswamy Stadium.
RCB batted first and made a target of 213 runs.

Jacob Bethel :- In which Jacob Bethel scored 55 runs in 33 balls in which he hit 8 fours and 2 sixes.
Virat Kohli :- Similarly on the other hand Virat Kohli while coming in as opener scored 62 runs in 33 balls which included 5 fours and 5 sixes.
Similarly Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli took charge of the opening pair and made a partnership of 117 runs.
Matheesha Pathirana :- Pathirana bowled the eleventh over and took the wicket of Jacob Bethell in his first over itself.
Devdutt padikkal :- After that Devdutt padikkal came and he got out in Pathirana’s over after scoring 17 runs in 15 balls His catch was taken by Ravindra Jadeja He could not do much for his team and his innings ended early.
Rajat Patidar :- Rajat Patidar scored 11 runs in 15 balls in which he could hit only one six and could not show his good performance against Chennai as well
Romario Shepherd :- The amazing performance by Romario Shepherd was worth watching. RCB were able to score only 158 runs in 17.5 overs then Romario Shepherd entered, after his arrival the score became 113 in 20 overs in which Romario Shepherd made 53 runs in total 14 balls in which he hit 4 fours and 6 sixes.
RCB has won the lost match. In the 19th over Shepherd hit 4 sixes and 2 fours in Khalil Ahmed’s over Shepherd alone made the entire Chennai team sweat with his batting. If we are asked to win the match from one side, then this match was to be won by West Indies all-rounder Shepherd because if he had not come later and scored these runs then Chennai would have won the match in 17 overs only.
Now let’s talk about Chennai Super Kings’ batting :
Chennai Super Kings’ two openers Ayush Mhatre and Sheikh Rashid came to bat in the opening.
Ayush Mhatre :- Ayush Mhatre also gave a lot of trouble to the Bangalore bowlers by scoring 94 runs in just 48 balls in which he hit 9 fours and 5 sixes he stood firmly for his team and kept facing the Bangalore bowlers, it can be assumed that he had given courage to his team that I will make the team win his luck was good while playing like this he reached 94 after that Lungi Nagidi brings the over and traps Ayush Mhatre in his net before also he had missed 3 catches but this time luck did not favour him and Krunal Pand
ya caught his catch at the boundary and Ayush Mhatre was out.
Ravindra Jadeja :- After that comes Ravindra Jadeja, he scored 77 runs in 45 balls and brought glory to his team.
Ravindra Jadeja stood firm for his team and tried his best to take his team forward and he did take his team forward but in the end luck deserted him as Ravindra Jadeja was standing not out on the non-strike end and Sam Curran was on strike. Sam Curran was also out after scoring just 5 runs in Lungi Ngidi’s over. After that came Dewald Brevis who was out LBW on the first ball of Ngidi.

MS DHONI :- Mus came after losing 4 wickets to handle the innings and he too could not make his team win. Only 15 runs were needed in the last over. Dhoni was on strike and the bowler opposite him was Yash Dayal Dhoni started by bowling perfect yorkers on 2 balls after that Dhoni hit a long six on the 3rd ball on the off side On the very
next ball Dayal got Dhoni out LBW by yorker After that comes Shivam Dube in the form of impact and he came on the first ball and hit a six that too on a no ball He wanted 6 runs in 3 balls Dayal won the match by hitting perfect yorkers on all 3 balls.
